If you think new political parties don't often have much success you're right. But the Vermont WFP is a new kind of political party.
We believe that there are members of all political parties -- Democrats, Republicans, Progressives and Independents -- who share our values.
And we'll support any candidate who is really committed to the issues that matter to us: good jobs, affordable healthcare, quality schools, and a clean environment.
For every election, Working Families members will research the records of all the candidates -- and only endorse the ones who will put working families first.
When you go to vote, you'll see some candidates on the ballot listed as candidates of another party and of Working Families Party. Those are the candidates who have the WFP seal of approval.
We don't have to run our own candidate to win in every election to make a difference. We just hope to show voters who is the best candidates for working and middle class families with our endorsement right on the ballot.
